Titan Development Group formed in 2007 and acquired the assets of Green Valley Sanitation in March of 2011, and has since been operating as Titan Recycle and Trash. Green Valley Sanitation had been providing trash and recycle service in the Green Valley/Sahuarita area in some form or another for over 10 years.
Titan provides weekly residential trash and recycle pickup, serving individual residents and homeowners associations in Southern Arizona. Using smaller trucks without automatic loading arms, we specialize in hand serviced accounts, such as those with in-ground containers and communities in which the homeowners otherwise provide their own containers. We can also provide periodic scheduled bulk pickup for HOAs that we have exclusive contracts with for an additional charge (unless built into the existing contract).

Pickup Times: There are many factors that affect the routes and service times, such as: trash volume, traffic, equipment malfunctions, weather conditions, and special pickups. Please allow the drivers the full service day to pick up your trash before taking it in or assuming it wasn't picked up. Regardless of your usual pickup time, we recommend that all materials be put out by 6:00 AM on your service day to ensure pickup in case of unforeseen schedule changes.
The average GVW of most garbage trucks range from 45,000 lbs up to and over 60,000 lbs.
The weight of our trucks ranges from 12,000 lbs to 23,000 lbs.
Over half of the roads in communities throughout Southern Arizona are privately maintained by HOAs, which means that maintenance funds come directly from the homeowners in the form of assessments. Street maintenance is usually the single largest budget expense for private communities, and heavy commercial trucks (trash trucks specifically) are one of the biggest contributing factors to premature road wear. Titan has made a commitment to using smaller trucks to minimize our impact on our communities' roads.
Billing: we charge a flat quarterly fee and all payments are due on the first of the quarter
Surcharges: we do not charge taxes or environmental fees. There is typically a one-time setup fee for new customers.
Vacation Holds: We will suspend and reinstate services for periods no less than 30 days. ONE service hold per calendar year is provided at no cost. Any additional requests will incur a $15.00 administrative fee. It is the customer's responsibility to notify our office prior to suspending or canceling service. Without proper notification, the customer will be responsible for any charges that are billed. We have no way of knowing you have left unless we are notified, and therefore the property is still being serviced and costs are still being incurred by Titan. Regardless of whether the house is occupied or trash is put out, NO credits will be given for past service if proper notification is not given by the customer.
At Titan, we pride ourselves in being transparent and fair with our pricing; you will not see frequent fluctuations or increases in your rates like with many other haulers. We resist increases unless absolutely necessary, so if you see an increase in your billing, it is a necessary reaction to operating costs that are out of our control (i.e., fuel, labor, regulations, disposal fees, etc).
